Lamar Odom Back In Pro Basketball After Three Year Absence

After 12 strokes, six heart attacks while in Coma, After Suffering kidney failure as a result of drug overdose and several visits to rehab, and the breakdown of his marriage to the famous Khloe Kardashian. Former NBA player Lamar Odom has announced his return to Professional basketball, But not the NBA this time, the 39 year old as revealed via an Instagram post the he would be playing in The Dubai International Basketball Championship come February 2019.
Odom Wrote on his Instagram: “I’d like to announce that I will be playing in The Dubai International Basketball Championship this February 1st 2019 !!!!!!! ‘I will be representing team @mightysports_ph from the Philippines with my 4ever #7 ! To me this is a great warming up for the @thebig3 !! [sic]’ Lamar previously played for the Los Angeles Lakers in America’s NBA, where he won the championships in 2009 and 2010 and was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2011. The athlete revealed that he had hoped to return to the game earlier this year in time for the Chinese Basketball Association but didn’t quite feel he was at peak fitness. ‘It’s been a minute since I’ve professionally competed and I hope to be as explosive as I used to be!’ Lamar continued. ‘I was hoping to be ready for the Chinese CBA earlier this year but I didn’t feel that I was physically were I wanted to be. ( yet) I needed more time to recover from my multiple strokes and hearts attacks.
“Im not giving up and going in full force !! Patience and moving FORWARD is KEY!”
The eyes of Basketball lovers will be on the Dubai International Basketball Championship when Odom turns out for Mighty Sports of Philippines in his Number 7 jersey.
