Lagos State Police Command Launches “Operation Puff Adder”

The Lagos State Police Command has today launched “Operation Puff Adder” weeks after the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu launched same.

The Police Command revealed that the Operation was launched to combat cultism, kidnapping, robbery,  murder and other criminal activities in the state.

Speaking during the launch The State Police Commissioner, Zubairu Muazu, said that “Operation Puff Adder” is aimed at dominating and reclaiming public space from heinous criminal elements that are threatening the nation’s internal security order.

CP Muazu disclosed that officials shortlisted for the special duties were drawn from criminal intelligence bureau, rapid response squad, tactical units, taskforce and others.
