President Buhari Commiserates with Family of Former Information Minster

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with family of former Minister of Information, Chief Alex Akinyele, who passed away on Thursday night after a brief Illness.

The President also sent his words of condolences to the government and people of Ondo State, friends and professional colleagues of the departed.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Femi Adesina, President Buhari urged them to take solace in the lasting legacies of the former colourful minister, who also served as Chairman of National Sports Commission and Chairman of National Reconciliation Committee.

The former minister who earned a degree in English Language from the Obafemi Awolowo University was described by President Buhari as someone whose love for the nation was zealously demonstrated through providing exemplary leadership.
